Initially, Ms. Admire's career began as an office manager. Her role as a business employee prompted her to teach. After graduating from UNL, Lisa began her teaching career as a business teacher at Irving Middle School.
In 2003 she began teaching at Lincoln High School. While teaching at LHS, she also served as Asian Caucus sponsor and FCA co-sponsor. Her favorite class to teach was Computer Applications; frequently, she found the students would teach her. Ms. Admire also spent many hours designing and planning a new and improved LHS Website.
In 2009 and 2010 Ms. Admire served LPS as an Instructional Technology Coach. Then, in 2011 she made her return trip home to Irving Middle School. She's had TWO wonderful years teaching with the families in her Irving neighborhood, and Ms. Admire looks forward to many, many more! Ms. Admire continues to stay connected with her alma mater, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, by either teaching classes or participating as a student.
Lisa has lived in the Lincoln community since 2004 and takes pride in naming this city home. She enjoys traveling, skiing, golfing, gardening, entertaining, and spending time in her home, and sharing life with friends and family.
And she also spends lots of time with her black lab, Carson.
